Coffee is more than a part of life here, it is life. The coffee scene has continued to grow all over the city and Starbucks is no longer the go-to for a cup of joe and a quiet place to get some work done (…or some free wifi). From trendy established roasters to tucked away cafes, we have gathered up a few of our favorite local shops that are serving up some of the best brew around!
Stumptown Coffee Roasters
Located off Santa Fe, this shop migrated from the pacific northwest and is all about brewing that perfect sip for their die hard customers. The shop has minimal seating since most of the space is taken up by the roastery that they use in house (so neat!). If you’re enough lucky to grab a seat at the bar front and center to all the action, you can see what roasting the perfect bean is all about!

Blacktop Coffee

This Shop is all about community, located in the Arts District the shop is known for its regulars. With a straight to the point menu of only 5 coffee options Blacktop’s name of the game is quality over quantity, and we’re not disappointed! This cozy shop also offers teas, small bites; and a local favorite, avocado toast.

This lush 1,600 square foot espresso bar has been long awaited as the name is well known in the coffee community. Verve beans are widely sold via wholesale to quite a bit of third-wave shops, aiding to its popularity. The space is clean, open, and is “V” Instagram worthy. Besides its airy decor, Verve is also partnering with Juice Served Here to have 23 cold pressed juices available along with other seasonal goodies. So stop in, we guarantee there is something for everyone!
